Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all cash processing procedures by securing, accounting and distributing revenue from the sales floor to banking level
- Ensure safe and secure handling of all payment tenders and credit card information, following clear processes
- Meet service level requirements of revenue collection by third party carriers
- Process direct change requests from Retail Operations departments
- Manage non POS related processes, including gift card management and season ticket collection
- Ensure maintenance of all cash office machinery; change machines, coin/note counters, coin sorters and drop safes
- Be responsible for the auditing and management of bullion in the strong room
- Ensure that any defects in machinery are escalated to the relevant person
- Maintain the Cash Office to ensure it is fully compliant at all times with trading standards legislation, health & safety legislation and security standards
About You
- Well organised, prioritising workload and handling multiple requests effectively; methodical with excellent attention to detail
- Great communicator, friendly, confident, building relationships with team members and working closely with various divisions and departments to ensure compliance
- Experienced in Microsoft Office applications
- Adaptable, working independently as well as collaboratively, understanding shifting priorities due to competing deadlines
