Job Description:

Location: Newcastle (will include one evening)Hours: 0.5 fte (18.5 hours)Salary: £32,136 – £42,848 pro rata

Location: Stafford (hourly paid)Hours: 3 hours – Tuesday EveningSalary: £25.38 per hour

Teach English to speakers of other languages on adult courses, including qualification and non‑qualification courses.
Play an active role in marketing and community awareness of ESOL across the community, including open days, taster sessions and liaison with local employers.
Engage in core duties such as preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking examination papers, and developing flexible learning materials.
Support marketing of the College, Faculty and Department.

Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Level 5 university specialism in ESOL (or equivalent); ESOL trained (RSA or CELTA).
Teaching qualification at Level 5 (DTLLS or equivalent); PGCE or DTTLS or willingness to obtain.
Ability to teach Academic English.
Well organised and able to manage a varied workload.
