Hammersmith & Fulham. Flexible start date with an opportunity to trial before summer. Full‑time from September (or sooner). A lovely one‑form entry primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Role Overview
The role will involve supporting a Year 2 class, with a particular focus on working with 2–3 pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will deliver targeted intervention sessions, provide tailored support to help pupils make progress academically and socially, and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO. Alongside this, you will also work as a general Teaching Assistant across the classroom, supporting learning, behaviour, and engagement for all pupils.

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have experience supporting primary‑aged pupils, ideally in KS1
- Have experience working with children with SEN
- Be confident delivering small‑group and intervention support
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Be patient, proactive, and enthusiastic
- Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
