All the details
We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded all‑rounder to join the Jaeger team as a Junior Designer on a 12‑month maternity cover. This is an opportunity to be part of a design team creating modern, elevated collections for an iconic British brand, supporting research, CAD, colour, fabric, print and product development. You’ll bring fresh ideas, strong attention to detail and a passion for beautifully considered design, working collaboratively with Design, Buying and Technical teams to help deliver ranges that feel relevant, refined and true to Jaeger’s distinctive handwriting.
Please submit a sample of your portfolio as an attachment, rather than a link, as we are unable to access external portfolio links.
Due to high interest, this role may close earlier than advertised. We recommend applying as soon as possible.

- Assist with research, design development and preparation of seasonal boards, colour palettes, fabric direction and key product details.
- Work closely with the wider design, buying and technical teams to support the delivery of the range from concept through to sign‑off.
- Contribute ideas and inspiration that reflect the Jaeger brand handwriting, customer profile and seasonal trend direction.
- Prepare and maintain accurate design packs, sketches, artwork and product information to support effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Who you are
- Expert in design with experience in the premium market, retail or manufacturing industry.
- Raise the bar to the next level on product modernity, design and development, execution, refinement, fits, detail and finish, with engagement with SO and key suppliers.
- Drive fabric research and attend fairs to source new and interesting qualities within the pricing architecture. Meet fabric deadlines.
- Drive Design Product Strategy (DPS) in line with BU, collaborating with the wider team and contributing original research, vintage research and markets.
