Responsibilities

• Support transition to a DevOps environment
• Manage Software Release, Configuration Management, Application & IT Support
• Create builds; Deploy code; Configuration; Create automated scripts; Implement change control; Develop release and change processes; Provide application support

Qualifications

• Experience of software release into high availability environments
• Embrace automation/DevOps in current environment for software release
• Background in Configuration or Application Support
• IT Infrastructure / Application Support / Software Support (Desktop or Web applications)
• Understanding of designing, optimising, maintaining or improving software build and deployment pipelines (MSBuild, Bamboo, Jenkins, Selenium, PowerShell, Redgate)
• Knowledge and experience of automating tasks with PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Understanding of modern software development technologies, practices & environments
• T‑SQL knowledge
• IIS
• Networking & Infrastructure knowledge
