We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Construction at Stephenson College, part of Loughborough College Group.
The Head of Construction role is responsible for education and training for Education Programmes for Young People, full time study programme provision (16-19) in a range of construction and building services curriculum areas, including but not limited to Professional Construction, Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery, Multi-trade, Painting and Decorating, Plumbing and Heating.
Responsibilities include delivering high quality, challenging and inspiring learning experiences, leading and devising appropriate assessments, developing plans to secure a curriculum portfolio that is responsive to local needs, college priorities and targets, and national priorities. The role also involves managing line staff and programmes, analysing performance data to inform quality improvement and implementing the team’s key performance indicators.
We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, the ability to motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of line management and programme management. Strong analytical, digital and FE data reporting system skills are essential.
