Job Summary
The main aim of this role is to support children with SEND and work alongside the SEN Unit’s class teachers to tailor work and activities to meet the children’s needs. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and take ownership of the role by ensuring learning is fun and engaging.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The role involves providing specialist support to children with SEND, tailoring activities, and collaborating with teachers.
Qualifications and Checks
- Full enhanced DBS check
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Check for child care disqualification, medical, online and social media, prohibition from teaching, right to work, satisfactory references, suitability to work with children
- Disclose any unspent conviction, caution, reprimand or warning under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975
