Job Overview
Creative Support, a not‑for‑profit social care provider with a 30‑year history, is recruiting a Quality and Auditing Officer. The role involves working closely with the Quality Team and related quality work streams to examine and improve the quality of services delivered to over 6,000 vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be based at the Head Office in Stockport and will regularly travel nationally to conduct planned visits and audits.
Responsibilities
- Work proactively with the Quality Team and other quality work streams within Creative Support.
- Plan and carry out quality visits and audits of services.
- Complete comprehensive reporting and review service action plans.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external services, including commissioning and regulatory bodies such as the CQC.
- Support the Quality Team to ensure action plans are addressed and followed up.
- Provide full support and training to team members, with regular supervision from the line manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social care or a closely related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and patience to check quality in services.
- Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a dynamic team.
- Eligibility to work within the UK; this post does not accept sponsorship under the UKVI scheme or Skilled Worker visas.
