The role involves advising the Family Court as children and families go through significant events including care proceedings, adoption and parental separation. You will be responsible for understanding what the child needs and feels, then advising the Family Courts on the best course of action for the child. This will be done by providing written case analysis, attending court as an advocate for the best interests of the child, ensuring their voice is not lost.
Interested candidates should have:
- Up to date SWE registration
- Experience of child protection, children in care, court work
- DBS on the update service, or be willing to acquire one
