We are looking for a mid‑level full stack C# Web Developer to build and support client‑facing web applications, including new product development and legacy ASP.NET services. The role involves working within a collaborative team that emphasizes technology investment and a professional yet relaxed culture.
Client: Global Life Sciences provider of automation solutions, instrumentation and data services.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC or MVVM, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server
- Experience in all layers of development: Front End, Business Logic, Data Access, and Backend database work
- Ability to collaborate with QA, Delivery and Support teams
Reporting to a Development Lead, you will:
- Design, develop and maintain software components and functionality
- Work closely with the development manager on design decisions
- Communicate progress of deliverables regularly to support project planning and measurement
- Produce documentation for design, QA and release phases, such as functional specifications
- Handle all aspects of the development life‑cycle from requirements analysis and design to support and maintenance
Location: East Midlands (accessible by public transport from Chesterfield, Derbyshire and Nottingham).
Salary & Benefits: £30‑40K plus pension and health benefits. Formal training plans for personal development.
