Job Overview
Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services company, is expanding our IKEA Security Operations Centre and is looking for permanent staff. Previous experience monitoring CCTV is required, along with a CCTV SIA licence. We want to speak with excellent communicators who have a great telephone manner and computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Report and present incidents to the IRMC Manager and supervisors.
- Use CCTV to identify criminal behaviour in IKEA units.
- Support IKEA co‑workers on the phone.
- Input security and crime incident data into a central database.
- Provide a high level of customer service to our client.
- Engage with the Mitie loss prevention team.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritise daily workload.
- Committed, motivated, reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Valid SIA CCTV licence.
Compensation & Benefits
£30,000 per annum, 42 hours per week, including weekend working, 4 on 4 off and 5 on 3 off shift patterns. Varied shifts Monday to Sunday between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Monday‑Saturday) and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday.
