Warehouse Operatives

Overview

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives for one of our clients based in Shotts.

This position is temporary to ongoing and may lead into a temp to perm.

Responsibilities

• Making & breaking down pallets
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working in both chilled and ambient warehouse environments
• Picking and packing orders
• General warehouse duties

Shift Pattern

• Wednesday to Saturday, 0600 – 1600
• Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday; Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 0600 – 1800

Pay

£13.00 per hour paid via PAYE

£14.56 per hour paid via PAYE Advanced (holiday taken upfront)

Pension contribution after qualifying period

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience desirable
• A valid forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
