Attendance Officer – Primary School, Watford | September Start
Do you believe that excellent attendance is key to children’s success? We’re looking for an organised and compassionate Attendance Officer to join a primary school in Watford. In this important role, you’ll help improve pupil attendance by working closely with families, staff, and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality.
- Following up on absences with parents and carers.
- Producing attendance reports.
- Supporting attendance improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate attendance records using school management systems.
Ideal Candidate
- Have strong communication and administrative skills.
- Be confident handling sensitive conversations.
- Be organised and able to work independently.
- Have experience within education or a similar environment (desirable).
