Senior Clinical Fellow in the Department of Pancreatic Surgery

We are inviting applications to fill our senior clinical fellow vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the Department of Pancreatic Surgery. This post commences October 2026 and is a fixed-term 12‑month position. Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practice by the intended start date.

Main duties of the job

We would like a surgical trainee to join us for 12 months working with six consultant surgeons to gain experience in pancreatic cancer surgery, including minimally invasive surgery for acute and chronic pancreatitis. The successful applicant must have general surgery experience in the UK. Participation at HST level in the senior general surgical out of hours rota will be expected.

Qualifications and experience

  • Evidence of achievement of competencies in medicine or surgery to ST7/8 level (as defined by the curricula relating to Core Medical Training or Core Surgical Training)
