Role Overview
As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployments, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployments, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
- Build secure, reliable, and cost-optimized cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot issues across environments and maintain compliance with security best practices.
- Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code adoption for faster and more efficient delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services: GKE, VPC design, subnets, firewall rules, load balancing.
- Strong experience in DevOps & Automation, including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise with Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Monitoring and logging experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio) and Helm charts.
- Familiarity with Harness platform.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Pub/Sub and Dataflow.
- Experience with security hardening and IAM policies.
- Exposure to cost optimization and billing management.
