Integrated Neighbourhood Team Clinical Lead – Physiotherapy
We are looking for a motivated Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our Bristol team. Working alongside the Clinical Lead for Occupational Therapy and other Sirona Clinical Leads, you will champion the Physiotherapy profession within the Bristol Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs), providing expert clinical leadership, professional advice and support both locally and across wider Sirona initiatives to transform therapy services.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with colleagues across Bristol’s three localities to support therapists delivering high-quality care across the full range of INT pathways, including urgent and planned therapy services, as well as Pathway 1 hospital discharges. You will help shape and develop services, ensuring patients receive timely, effective and person-centred care.

You will also play a vital role in developing and sustaining our therapy workforce, leading on recruitment and retention, supporting staff development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement and safe, evidence-based practice.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to provide strong, visible and credible senior clinical physiotherapy leadership and direction to the physiotherapists within the Integrated Network Teams in conjunction with the Locality managers, Assistant Locality Manager, Integrated Network Team Manager and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Long Term Conditions and Acute) in leading the Integrated Network Teams (INTs) in the Locality in the planning, provision, development and improvement of a range of clinical services. The role will have a clinical focus, ensuring the provision of high quality clinical care, ensuring clinical effectiveness and efficiency.
The Clinical Lead – Physiotherapy will provide clinical supervision of the INT physiotherapy staff and review the clinical supervision structure and processes. This may also include responsibility for supporting the rehabilitation of service users, carrying a small complex clinical caseload for those requiring a high level of expertise and experience. The post holder will work closely with the other clinical and managerial leads to ensure consistent delivery of safe and effective care and maintain a strong multi-professional ethos of professional respect, understanding and contributing to the delivery of Sirona’s vision and values.

Qualifications/Training
- Current HCPC Registration
- Evidence of CPD
- Successful completion of a relevant post-graduate Level 3 or higher course/module
- Coaching/Teaching qualification/experience
- Knowledge of national, local, strategic and operational policy developments and potential implications
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of managing people and effective clinical supervision of junior staff and students
- Experience of working autonomously and proactively to meet KPIs
- Experience of working across organisational and professional boundaries to improve care including challenging service delivery and provision
- Ability to demonstrate innovative, evidence based and reflective practice utilising shared decision making principles
- Experience of managing change projects, ability to negotiate, influence, motivate others
- Experience of clinical audit and development/implementation of standards
- Risk management and Clinical expertise in a speciality e.g. Rehabilitation, manual handling, falls management or postural management, etc.
- Knowledge of Legal issues relating to Mental Capacity Act, Data Protection Act, Safeguarding, etc.
