Drivers Direct Recruitmentare looking to recruit Class 1 driver’s on behalf of our clients to join their teams around the North East.
Hours of work:
Day shift
Tramping
Start times may vary in clients
Monday to Friday OR adhoc days available too if requested
Minimum of 8hrs paid per day
Salary:
£13.38 per hour (£15.00 with holiday pay accrual)
The Role:
Class 1 work
General Haulage
Duties/Responsibilities:
Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
To complete deliveries in accordance to time scale.
To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
To comply with health and safety at all times.
Able to maintain good working relationships
Essential Skills:
Must hold a valid licence
Must be over 21 due to insurance stipulations
Good communication skills
Good customer relations
No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
