Role Overview
We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Production to lead the delivery of unforgettable live experiences. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Production Manager ready to step into a Head of Production role, or an established Head of Production looking for a fresh challenge within a fast‑paced, ambitious agency. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves live events, thrives on being onsite, enjoys rolling their sleeves up when needed, and is happiest when they’re leading a team through complex productions from concept to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of experiential events from pitch through to live delivery.
- Translate creative concepts into practical production plans.
- Manage large production budgets and ensure projects remain commercially successful.
- Mentor and guide a talented production team, helping team members develop and grow.
- Collaborate closely with creative, account management and finance teams to deliver seamless projects.
- Take ownership of logistics, venues, fabrication, technical production, health & safety, staffing and onsite delivery.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for production internally and externally.
- Identify and solve problems before they become issues.
- Drive continuous improvements across production processes and delivery standards.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience delivering complex live events and experiential campaigns.
- Enjoys on‑site involvement, such as builds, supplier management, troubleshooting and live event support.
- Willing to work weekends when required by projects.
- Strong network of trusted production suppliers and freelancers, with ability to negotiate favourable outcomes.
- Experienced in AV, scenic build, fabrication, venue management, technical production, and logistics.
- Proven track record of managing production teams and maximizing team performance.
- Approachable, supportive, able to coach others, and capable of making difficult decisions when necessary.
- Creates an environment that builds confidence, trust, and a positive workplace culture.
