Location: Middlesex Manor Care Home, Middlesex, Wembley. CQC rating: Good. Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.7/10. Salary: £12.75 – £13.75 per hour. Permanent part‑time contract – 14 hours per week.

Responsibilities
An activity coordinator is responsible for creating a vibrant, joy‑filled atmosphere for residents, producing and updating an activity planner, organising birthday celebrations, liaising with external companies for day‑out events, arranging one‑to‑one sessions, supporting social media channels, and running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
- Running morning and afternoon activity sessions
- Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
- Organising birthday surprises for our residents
- Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
- Organising one‑to‑one sessions with residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading or tea and chat
- Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
Qualifications & Skills
Creative thinker with plenty of ideas. Able to manage budgets, maintain paperwork, and prioritise tasks. Passionate about caring for others, with a sense of humour and enthusiasm.
