Job Description
Notts Outdoors, a dedicated team within Nottinghamshire County Council, is committed to creating positive experiences that help children and families grow, learn, and have fun. Our Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre is a flagship venue in the Peak District, offering a unique opportunity to inspire young people through outdoor learning. We are seeking an exceptional Head of Centre to provide strategic leadership and operational management for the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and sustainability of the Centre.
- Oversee staff, programmes, facilities, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Notts Outdoors to promote outdoor activities.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Drive performance and foster a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in outdoor education, management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a leadership role within an educational or outdoor setting.
- Proven experience managing budgets and resources.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in outdoor environments.
