Ascent People Ltd is recruiting a Junior Java Developer for our Leicester-based client. The role focuses on backend development, rewriting the back-end of flagship products, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

You will join a new team of Java developers reporting to the Application Team Leader. The position requires 1+ years of Java experience and a good understanding of Java SE, JDK 7 and J2EE, with exposure to JEE and RESTful services. Salary £19,000–£28,000 plus benefits.
