Legal Secretary Conveyancing
Location: Belfast
Salary: £25k £31k DOE
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a secretary with conveyancing experience who is confident managing a busy workload and providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support from file opening through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting a solicitor with a busy conveyancing caseload
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Opening, maintaining and closing conveyancing files
- Preparing contracts, letters, forms and completion documents
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and third parties
- Managing diaries, appointments and key dates
- Handling incoming calls, emails and general client queries
- Assisting with post-completion administration and file management
- Providing wider administrative support to the conveyancing department when required
The Candidate
- Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within conveyancing
- Strong typing, organisational and communication skills
- Confident dealing with clients and third parties
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
