Staff Product Manager – Alternative Payment Methods
Checkout.com is seeking a Staff Product Manager and leader to own the strategy and delivery of our APM solutions on a global scale. You will provide cross‑functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, to enable our customers to leverage Checkout.com for a viable open‑banking solution. Daily tasks include understanding stakeholders’ pain points, driving prioritization for product development, and developing new capabilities for our customers.
Hybrid Working Model
All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We offer snacks, breakfast, and lunch during your days at the office.
About you
- 7‑10 years of product management experience.
- Practical experience taking open banking‑powered solutions from concept to launch, and familiarity with key technologies, regulatory drivers, key players and suppliers, and customer use cases in the ecosystem.
- Data‑driven: skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.
- Customer‑first: think from the customer’s perspective and balance future opportunities with immediate needs.
- End‑to‑end mindset: structured and diligent, understanding all key components necessary to drive ongoing product success.
- Leadership: excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.
- Effective communicator: able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Own the strategy and delivery of Checkout’s APM portfolio solution across our entire global merchant ecosystem.
- Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders and secure their buy‑in and collaboration to generate momentum for your products.
- Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery.
- Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business.
- Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.
