Relief Chef Manager – Barrow-in-Furness

We are hiring for a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to provide cover in the area of Barrow‑in‑Furness and surrounding area to support our existing site‑based teams. The role is term‑time only and does not require weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The position is mobile‑based, so you must have your own transport.

Salary and working hours: £12.71 per hour, 30 hours per week (Monday‑Friday), 38 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• Ensure our locations meet statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.
• Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.

• Ability to work in a mobile setting across the Barrow‑in‑Furness area.
