Overview

We are inviting applications to fill our Trust Doctor vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Department of Anaesthetics. This post will commence ASAP and is fixed term for 6 months. The post holder will work across sites – St James’s University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by the intended start date.

Main duties

The successful applicant will have regular training lists across a broad spectrum of specialties as mutually agreed at interview and will be expected to contribute to the out of hours service by being part of the on-call team alongside the anaesthetic trainees. All out of hours call rotas at Leeds are a 1 in 8 working pattern and are compliant with European Working Time Directive legislation and the 2016 contract. When not working out of hours, successful applicants will have a mixture of consultant supervised and solo lists (where appropriate).
