Responsibilities

  • Support and promote quality management processes across the site.
  • Drive a strong quality culture through hands‑on engagement with production, engineering and supply chain teams.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to ensure long‑term resolution of quality concerns.
  • Conduct internal audits and support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop, monitor and improve supplier performance, addressing quality issues and supporting supplier development activities.
  • Assist with supplier approval processes and ongoing supplier quality management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving operational performance.
  • Review technical drawings and quality documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Complete and review PPAP documentation where required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality role.
  • Strong knowledge of problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys or similar techniques.
  • Experience managing supplier quality performance and supplier development programmes.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
  • Proven background implementing and managing CAPA processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience completing or reviewing PPAP documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience would be highly advantageous.
  • A hands‑on approach with a passion for solving technical and quality‑related challenges.
