Senior Solutions Architect

The Role

Senior Solutions Architect specializing in containerized solutions, responsible for leading the deployment of these solutions within our customers’ environments.

Solutions Architects serve as the initial technical point of contact for customers and key technical stakeholders. They drive the technical setup required to leverage the full range of Celonis features—including process mining, execution management, process automation, Action Flow, and task mining—ensuring customers achieve value.

The work you’ll do

• Serve as the key technical stakeholder on Celonis side for successful delivery and onboarding of Celonis for enterprise clients.
• Lead technical discussions to analyze customer architecture, recommend optimal solutions, and facilitate deployment while managing expectations amid technical constraints.
• Remove technical obstacles to maximize Celonis user adoption, clarifying risks and necessary trade‑offs.
• Promote reusability by choosing between dedicated customer solutions and broader platform enhancements in collaboration with Celonis product development.
• Establish real‑time data integrations between customer systems and Celonis via APIs and internal tools.
• Guide customers on authentication, user/group management, and provisioning best practices to remove technical barriers and drive user adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes.
• Advanced knowledge with at least one Kubernetes distribution (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, etc.).
• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required; existing clearance is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of best practices for deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure, and resilient containerized applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC, e.g., Terraform) is required; Helm or Kustomize experience preferred; familiarity with ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, etc. is a plus.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience and interest in modern tech stacks and methods such as REST/SOAP API‑management, data ingestion & streaming (Kafka or similar), SSO, LDAP, IT security, Agile, etc.
• Experience working with Python, SQL, data pipelines, and ETL processes for large data volumes is a plus.
• Knowledgeable about security and compliance for enterprise applications; solid project management experience and a customer‑centric focus.
• A solution‑oriented professional who enjoys deep technical discussions and can translate technical knowledge into understandable terms for a broader audience.
