C# Developer, WEB Developer, .Net Programmer, .Net 4.5+, DotNet, WEB, MVC, SQL Server, T‑SQL, Entity Framework, Visual Studio 2010, JavaScript, some basic IT Support – 40K + office‑based role.
Requirements
- Proven C# MVC and SQL experience in commercial web software development.
- Experienced as a sole developer with ultimate responsibility.
- Ability to support users with basic IT needs.
Role Overview
Successful Electronics client with a history spanning 50 years is looking for a C# MVC developer to maintain their eCommerce platform and internal business systems. The role includes new development in C#, moving across to .Net Core, and supporting and transitioning legacy software written in VB.Net. The role will be split 80/20 in favour of new development. Reporting directly to the Director, you will support the business from a software and IT perspective and be comfortable helping a small internal team with basic IT requirements such as AD resets.
This role is a full‑stack job, but you don’t need to be an expert in front end development; basic JS, CSS, HTML will get you through and you can learn on the job.

Responsibilities
- Project management, specification writing, development, and delivery of software.
- Provide support and create business reports.
- Work closely with senior management to present ideas on technology moves, including moving to the cloud.
- Communicate effectively, work independently, integrate within the wider business.
