Description
This Lead Java Developer role is part of a global client producing the world’s best cloud platform. The position involves building a brand‑new Java team in the East Midlands office and hitting the ground running.
The role requires leadership of a Java web solution team and the ability to deliver robust, scalable code.
Key qualifications and experience
- 5+ years strong experience in Java development
- Proficient in J2EE, Apache Tomcat, JSP, Servlets
- Knowledge of front‑end technologies such as JavaScript and CSS is a bonus
- Experience delivering code through an IDE, e.g., Eclipse
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges
- Java qualifications are a bonus but not required
