Pastoral Manager

Take the lead in transforming pupil experiences! At Co‑op Academy North Manchester we are looking for dedicated Pastoral Managers to guide and empower our young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the personal development and welfare of all pupils within a year group, ensuring every child can leave the academy equipped to lead a happy and successful life.
  • Foster excellent learning habits, independence and resilience in pupils.
  • Work closely with Key Stage Leads, form tutors, the Designated Safeguarding Lead and other staff to support year teams.
  • Maintain high expectations for students and deliver safeguarding and PSHE/SMSC support.
  • Commit to continuing professional development for yourself and others.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with young people and their families.
  • Awareness of the challenges facing modern students and the capacity to hold the highest aspirations for them.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, welfare and the values of the Co‑op Academy Trust.
  • Ability to promote the welfare of all pupils and create a supportive school environment.
