Job Overview
Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in Argentina, ensuring their risk management and financial lines insurance broking needs are identified and met. Develop existing clients and drive the business development strategy for new opportunities while contributing to the overall growth of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a thought leader and develop FINEX central initiatives, producing thought leadership articles and research into financial and professional risks and threats; represent the team and Willis Towers Watson on industry panels, webinars, and social media.
- Collaborate with local and regional leaders and the Head of Finex for Latin America to develop new Finex solutions and best‑in‑class product wordings (e.g., for SPS/product).
- Contribute to the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategy.
- Hold full accountability of the budget and plan in Argentina (both retail and F&A), reporting monthly to the Head of Finex.
- Create, develop, and follow up on pipeline in CRM and BI strategy with all interested areas within Argentina, and coordinate with regional leaders for broader opportunities.
- Represent the client’s voice in decisions regarding process, approach, and future strategy.
- Obtain formal client feedback annually for all qualifying accounts.
- Leverage best practice from across Willis Towers Watson to deploy within the team.
- Ensure all sales processes are compliant with the Willis Towers Watson Excellence Model and local regulation.
- Ensure settlements, client cash allocations, and credit management fall within agreed parameters.
- Guarantee that every client has an agreed service plan and that client advocates implement every aspect of the plan.
- Maintain and develop a strong relationship with insurers, even when placement is developed in a separate area; collaborate closely with the F&A leader.
- Identify development needs and build clear goals to support colleagues’ learning and career progression.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues locally and internationally.
- Proactively meet the annual new business target through involvement in selected new business exercises and major projects.
- Generate new business and cross‑selling opportunities that contribute to the continued growth of the team.
- Offer premium funding where appropriate and manage debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade.
- Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools.
- Achieve and maintain compliance with relevant legislative requirements, including the Financial Services Reform Act Tier 1.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have extensive experience in client portfolio management, financial lines insurance broking, and business development within the Latin American market. They should demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive results while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
