J3642 – Broker Manager – UK, East Midlands (Hybrid) – Asset Finance
New Leaf Search has partnered with a UK bank offering tailored asset finance loans for businesses in its search for a Broker Manager.
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, East Midlands (Hybrid).
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Asset Finance team, managing a panel of broker relationships while supporting the end-to-end progression of new business opportunities.
Working closely with Brokers, Credit Underwriting, Operations and Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in preparing credit submissions, managing deal pipelines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently from proposal through to payout. This role would suit an organised, commercially minded Asset Finance professional looking to further develop their broker management career.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with an allocated panel of Asset Finance brokers
- Act as the primary liaison between Brokers, Credit, Operations and Onboarding teams
- Prepare and submit credit applications for underwriting approval
- Manage broker pipelines and ensure transactions progress efficiently
- Prepare and administer documentation through to successful payout
- Analyse financial accounts and support credit recommendations
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the business at broker, customer and industry events
- Maintain excellent customer service and communication throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Support wider Asset Finance sales initiatives and team objectives
Candidate Profile
- Asset Finance or Commercial Finance experience essential
- Previous broker-facing or internal sales experience preferred
- Good understanding of credit analysis and financial accounts
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Highly organised with strong administration and time management skills
- Experience using asset finance proposal systems such as Vienna or similar advantageous
- Commercially aware with a customer‑first approach
- Able to prioritise effectively within a fast‑paced environment
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
