This is an opportunity to join that journey as a Platform Engineering Lead, helping shape the technology foundations that support one of the world’s most iconic luxury automotive brands. The role offers the chance to influence strategy, lead a highly skilled Platform Engineering team and play a key role in modernising our technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of IT Operations and technology teams across the organisation to create secure, resilient and scalable platforms that support day‑to‑day operations and future innovation.
- Drive cloud adoption and infrastructure modernisation, including on‑premise and cloud environments, Windows server platforms, identity services, virtualisation technologies and multi‑cloud infrastructure spanning Azure, AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
- Improve reliability, automation, security and performance alongside colleagues across architecture, networks, applications and cyber security to deliver solutions that support Aston Martin’s wider business objectives.
- Lead a talented team of engineers, fostering an environment where collaboration, continuous learning and knowledge sharing are valued and encouraged.
- Contribute to long‑term roadmaps while remaining connected to the technologies that power the business, and challenge convention by bringing fresh ideas to the Future direction of Platform Engineering at Aston Martin.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of driving complex technical challenges to successful outcomes.
