Senior Quality Engineer

Permanent Position, ASAP Start, Derby

Job Description

• Act as the main point of contact for customers on all quality-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong working relationships
• Maintain and develop a “Quality Walk the Floor” routine to drive product quality, monitor performance, and support operational targets
• Ensure the Quality Management System complies with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements through audits and continuous improvement
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to reduce non-conformance and support a zero defect culture
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure quality standards are embedded from initial production stages

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Quality Engineer within an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100 and NADCAP
• Experience in a customer-facing quality role, managing and resolving quality concerns
