In this highly visible position you will shape oversight frameworks, influence governance standards and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. You will be trusted to drive improvements, enhance existing processes and help build a best‑in‑class delegated authority function while working in a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and due diligence process for new delegated authority partners
- Manage delegated authority governance processes across a varied portfolio of arrangements
- Ensure delegated authority contracts are reviewed, approved and maintained in line with regulatory and internal requirements
- Develop and enhance oversight frameworks, controls and governance procedures
- Monitor underwriting performance, bordereaux quality and operational KPIs across delegated arrangements
- Produce meaningful management information and oversight reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support audits, reviews and remediation activity where required
- Act as a key contact for underwriting, compliance, finance and operational teams
- Manage relationships with delegated authority partners and resolve queries efficiently
- Support the ongoing development of delegated authority systems, processes and reporting capabilities
Qualifications
- Strong experience within delegated authority, coverholder oversight or underwriting operations in the Lloyd’s market
- Knowledge of delegated authority governance, due diligence and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing delegated authority arrangements throughout their lifecycle
- Understanding of bordereaux management and delegated authority reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Familiarity with Lloyd’s systems including ATLAS, DCOM, DAM and Crystal would be advantageous
