THE ROLE_

The role of Effectiveness Manager is to work closely with the Head of Effectiveness in the execution of research and effectiveness programmes at Talon. To be the core point of contact to support planning teams with brief and pitch work, managing campaign effectiveness research and supporting senior leadership with effectiveness support. The role is responsible for managing the team in generating regular campaign measurement, achieving measurement targets, managing an agency patch and creating core effectiveness work to underpin planning and client performance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

  • Agency patch management. Drive the effectiveness agenda within the agency patch. It will be your role and responsibility to work with the planning teams to understand and interpret client briefs, objectives and KPIs to ensure that we deploy the right measurement solutions to answer these and protect OOH spend.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across our global offices to ensure that we implement successful ways of working, in line with our effectiveness standards, and which reflects the key nuances of local markets.
  • Work with the planning teams and their clients to ensure that effectiveness is embedded at the heart of the media planning process, developing a measurement framework, building out client benchmarks, and identifying the right opportunities for long term measurement laydowns of core clients within the patch.
  • Day to day project management, liaising with our research partners for measurement set-up, analysis and reporting of data and client debriefs.
  • Driving the growth of effectiveness and support your patch to hit their target through the engagement of new clients as well as developing key client’s measurement portfolios and diversifying their measurement solutions.
  • Working with the wider effectiveness team elevate the value of measurement projects by building out specific benchmarks for your patch, clients and categories.
  • Working with the Head of Effectiveness to help identify and implement new research methodologies that can be leveraged globally.
  • Act as a core point of contact for your patch as well as the broader EMEA offices for effectiveness, sharing knowledge and best practice across the business and wider team.
  • Own the generation of OOH data and insights, industry reports, market trends and related collateral to support marketing and client initiatives.
  • Embedded in industry knowledge through conducting regular analysis of syndicated research studies and reporting findings to the business and attendance of internal and external media/research and effectiveness events.
  • Develop research projects to support planning, marketing and overall business strategies.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team on proactive content, identify trends and topics that will shape Talon’s content agenda, inclusive of sales and marketing collateral and thought leadership (bylines and whitepapers).
  • Providing ad-hoc support to senior leadership with their key effectiveness and insights requirements.
  • Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate proper care and respect for corporate assets.
  • Work to embody the Talon values and behaviours to maintain the best possible culture throughout Talon.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives which drive Talon’s commitment to positive social and environmental causes. E.g., charity partnerships, volunteering, carbon offsetting etc.

AS WELL AS_

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of different types of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Understanding of the commercial sector.
