Telecom Fibre Engineer / FTTP Engineer

Pay: Working from a rate card with no cap on earnings.

Job Description

• Completing fibre installations
• Overhead and underground jobs
• Completing fibre surveying and repairing orders
• Full and continuous training provided in the role and support throughout the working day
• Site inspection evaluations, including traffic management, to be conducted
• Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries

Key Requirements

• Full UK driver’s licence with no more than 6 points

Training Provided

• First day of engagement at a national training centre to complete training
• Full attendance every day, Monday to Friday, is mandatory; missing days is not an option and will affect your ability to progress within the role into the buddy period

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift objects regularly
• Ability to safely climb ladders
• Ability to bend and stretch comfortably
• Must wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
