Client Overview
The client is a man who is non‑verbal and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy with dystonic movements. He lives at home with his close family and two pet dogs. All clinical needs are effectively managed in the home environment. He requires support from a tracheostomy‑ventilator experienced carer to ensure his safety and wellbeing at all times.
Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day care for the client, ensuring safety, wellbeing and management of his tracheostomy and ventilator needs. Assist with activities of daily living, monitoring health status, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Requirements
- Tracheostomy experience.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS requirement (can be applied for on registration).

Where possible we will offer work to meet your availability. A typical carer works about three shifts (36 hours) per week, earning approximately £500–£555 per week. This averages to an annual income of £26,200–£28,950.

Pay rates for this client range from £12.21 to £13.50 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay and varying with shift pattern.
