Overview
The Chef De Partie position in Chinnor involves preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard within a permanent, full‑time role. The position is offered by an established and well‑regarded restaurant, providing a supportive kitchen team and a great work‑life balance.
Role Details
- Salary: £27,000–£34,000 per annum, plus a service charge up to £3,000.
- Working pattern: five days a week (no Monday shifts), Sunday lunch service only; one additional evening off per week.
- Split shifts required with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and mornings.
- On‑site parking and live‑in accommodation available (small fee for accommodation).
- Applicants must have their own transport and prior experience in a Michelin star or Rosette setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high‑quality dishes in line with the Head Chef’s standards.
- Take ownership of your section, ensuring consistency and efficiency during service.
- Assist in the development of seasonal menus and new dishes.
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before service.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Minimise waste and support effective stock control.
- Ensure correct handling and storage of all food items.
- Support private dining and events when required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong Commis ready to step up.
- Own transport available.
- Experience in a Michelin star or Rosette environment.
