Job Description:

Join Ocado Logistics as a Local Legend, a Customer Service Team Member responsible for delivering groceries to our customers across Derby and Nottingham.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a delivery van and provide a positive, friendly experience to customers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely and correct delivery of goods.
  • Follow all company protocols for handling and delivering alcohol and other items.
  • Represent Ocado in a professional, customer‑focused manner at all times.

Qualifications

  • Full UK or EU driving licence.
  • Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points and no driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
  • Over 18 years of age for alcohol deliveries.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Training & Commencement

Training will begin at the Dordon site between 4Augustand22August. From 25August all training and deliveries will move to the new Nottingham site. Any travel costs incurred during this transition will be fully covered.

Working Hours & Pay

Hours: 40hours per week (including paid breaks). Work any 5 days out of 7, with 8‑hour shifts. Shifts run from 05:00 to midnight.

Contract type: Permanent.

Pay: £13.66 per hour, with overtime at time and a quarter. Paid breaks are included. The position is paid monthly, four weeks in advance.
