Clinical Lead for Podiatry and Non-Cancer Lymphoedema Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Podiatrist to join the Podiatry and Non-Cancer Lymphoedema Services that are delivered across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, by the Community Health Services (CHS) directorate of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).
As the permanent Band 8a Clinical Lead, the successful candidate will provide senior clinical and professional leadership for our patients and our registered/unregistered team members in the delivery of both the Podiatry and the Non-Cancer Lymphoedema Service.
Main duties of the job
- Alongside the Operational Lead for the services, is responsible for complex staff and resource planning to ensure effective clinical and operational day to day management of the services
- Is responsible for clinical management of the services team members
- Promotes and supports continuous personal and professional development of the team members working within the services, providing assurance that the workforce possesses the required clinical skills and leadership skills
- Establishes and maintains the expected standards of clinical practice for the services, as per relevant local/national clinical guidelines and pathways
- Ensures robust systems are in place to ensure quality and safety of the services, including compliance with CQC requirements
- Ensures continuous performance improvement, and implements and maintains effective performance reporting processes
- Plans and implements service, directorate, Trust, and system level changes to meet all key performance indicators as determined within the directorate
- Works collaboratively with estates and facilities to ensure the working environment meets service requirements
- Develops systems and processes to increase patient and public engagement and involvement in developing the services
- Works collaboratively with the Ops and Transformation Lead for the services in relation to finance management, workforce planning, service improvement, and in planning and developing strategic direction for the services
