Sales Hayes, London £13 – £50 per hour Permanent

Salary: From £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:45am-5:30pm

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

This is a long term temporary position.

HRGO Recruitment are looking for a reliable and experienced Sales Desk Representative to support their client in Hayes. You will be responsible for assisting with over-the-counter sales and walk-in customers. The role mainly involves selling products to customers, maintaining the showroom’s appearance and supporting day-to-day dispatch and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers face‑to‑face and build strong relationships and rapport.
• Quickly develop a good understanding of product ranges and pricing.
• Maintain a tidy, organised, and professional working environment and showroom.
• Assist with sales enquiries, order processing, end‑of‑day duties and general administrative duties such as filing.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Essential requirements

• Previous experience in retail or face‑to‑face sales is essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn product information and pricing quickly.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently.
• Punctual, reliable, and professional.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to personal and career development.
• Must be able to use a calculator to work out best on the spot pricing.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C (or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable browsing online and familiar with online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon.
