The Role
We are looking for experienced and engagingPortugueseteachers to deliver face-to-face adult group courses , primarily:
- Evenings: 18:30–20:30 (groups runningonce per week)
- Additionalopportunities: weekday afternoons, Friday evenings, and weekends
Whatyou’lldo
- Deliver high-quality, communicativePortugueselessons to adult learners
- Plan engaging lessons aligned with IH syllabi
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Build a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues tomaintainhigh academic standards
- Complete attendance records andupdate SharePoint folder witha work done record.
- Native or near-nativeproficiencyinPortuguese
- Recognised teaching qualification inPortuguese
- Good knowledge of thedifferences betweenBrazilian and European Portuguese
- Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching groups
- Right to work in the UK and currently UK-based
- Competitive salary based on experience: £27.33 – £30.24/hour + holiday pay
