Job Description
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be Civil Service approved.
- Prospective employees must receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check.
- Must have extreme patience working with young people.
- Must be helpful and attentive to directions of the teacher.
- Willingness and ability to assist in lifting and toileting of students.
- Patience, consistency, able to manage challenging behaviors required.
- Must help with organizing materials and supplies.
- Evidence of strong communication/interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff.
- Able to be flexible and accommodating.
