Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management on the implementation of student voice activities across the student journey and institution to increase the impact of student feedback and student engagement.
- Lead on the University’s liaison with the Student’s Union Student Voice Manager, Birkbeck’s Student Leaders and others to provide clear advice on student voice matters, and deliver briefings on exercises.
- Play a lead role in the design, presentation and enhancement of student feedback data dashboards for use by key stakeholders.
- Manage the processes related to Birkbeck’s internal student survey tools (currently Blue by Explorance) and train other members of the Academic Standards and Quality Team.
- Manage the processes on Birkbeck’s engagement with externally run student surveys for example the National Student Survey, Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, Postgraduate Research Experience Survey.
Qualifications
- Have strong IT skills, the ability to craft effective surveys, and the ability to translate findings into concise reports for different audiences.
- Comfortable presenting reports and working across the organisation, providing advice and support while managing workload independently and effectively.
- Sensitive to students from different backgrounds and ensures all parties feel the feedback process is productive and valuable.
- Proactive in identifying areas for development and enhancement.
- Comfortable working with and advising staff at all levels.
Salary and Benefits
£51,713 rising to £60,858 per annum, Grade 8 on the College’s London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.

Contract
