The European Geosciences Union is offering a fully funded PhD studentship to tackle PFAS (‘forever chemicals’) in drinking water. The successful candidate will conduct laboratory experiments to investigate PFAS removal using activated carbon (GAC) and develop predictive tools to optimize water treatment.
Training will be provided in environmental chemistry and advanced chemical analysis. Located at Cranfield University, this position also offers opportunities for international placements and collaboration with leading researchers and water industry partners.
