Job Description
Kronospan has exciting opportunities for Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our rapidly growing engineering team based in Chirk, North Wales.
These are full time, permanent positions offering earnings up to £58,000+ including shift allowance, overtime & bonus.
Kronospan can also offer Relocation Assistance (up to £8000) along with Home Office Employer Sponsorship and Financial Support towards VISA applications.
Day Mechanical Technician Hours – 08.00 – 16.30 (5 days Monday to Friday) or you can choose to work 07.00 – 17.00 (4 days between Monday to Friday).
Shift Mechanical Technician Hours – Full Continental 4 on 4 off (06.00 – 18.00 & 18.00 – 06.00).
Responsibilities
- Providing front line maintenance support to a specific area of our industry leading plant.
- Driving continuous improvement projects.
- Bringing fresh ideas – could we be doing this better?
- Heavy involvement in planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experienced in manufacturing maintenance.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- A hands‑on individual, positive, with a can‑do approach to work.
