About the role and school
We are seeking a PPA Cover Teacher to join a friendly and well-established primary school in Waltham Forest from September. This role involves teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons while ensuring pupils remain engaged and continue to make progress. The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team with strong behaviour systems and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The role offers variety across the week and opportunities to build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons as a PPA Cover Teacher
- Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Assess learning and provide feedback where required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous primary teaching experience
- Confident teaching across multiple year groups
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
