Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PET CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our teams at Freeman Hospital PET-CT Centre and South Tees PET-CT Centre.
The successful candidate will have either HCPC or an equivalent voluntary registration. You should have a background in Nuclear Medicine, preferably with experience of PET-CT, and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals. A high level of competency in cannulation is preferable.
A candidate with significant experience working as a Radiographer will also be considered, as training in PET-CT can be provided.
Responsibilities
In this role you may be working across both the Freeman Hospital PET-CT Centre and South Tees PET-CT Centre, and also across other sites in the region. You will need to have your own transportation.
You will undertake a competency programme in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered On the Job and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy.
You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. If you do not have prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.
