The Role

The successful Teacher of History will:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire curiosity, discussion, and a love of historical enquiry
  • Teach mixed-ability classes with confidence and adaptability
  • Track progress and support students to reach their potential
  • Work closely with a cohesive and encouraging humanities team

This role would suit both experienced History teachers and ECTs, with mentoring and support available.

Requirements

  • QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
  • Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
